The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) became the world-class airport it is today by overcoming obstacles, through regional partnerships and innovative dedication by a small group of individuals in the 1940s.
During this "NKY History Hour," Joe Huber, CVG’s chief legal officer, discusses the early history of the airport and how it has transitioned from a small army airfield outpost to an industry leader in job creation and innovation.
Joe Huber is a life-long resident of the region and a fan of all things airports, particularly CVG. Joe is a trustee on the BCM Board of Trustees and serves as the first chief legal officer for the Kenton County Airport board, which owns and operates CVG. Joe joined the airport’s contracts department at CVG in 2010 while attending the Chase College of Law’s evening program.
Hosted by Shane Noem and Tara Johnson-Noem, vice president of the BCM Board of Trustees, "NKY History Hour" is a weekly offering of the museum focused on Northern Kentucky history, featuring local authors, historians and archaeologists.
"NKY History Hour" presentations are currently free to the public but may become a BCM members-only benefit in the future. To support "NKY History Hour" and access many other entertaining and thought-provoking programs for free, join BCM today: [ Ссылка ].
