Chatuchak Weekend Market in Bangkok Thailand is the World’s Biggest Market held on weekends. Chatuchak, or JJ Market, spans over 27 acres of land with 15,000 vendors to choose from. Talk about the ultimate Bangkok shopping day!
When looking for things to do in Bangkok, the Chatuchak Weekend Market was top on many lists. Also spelled Jatujak, this bangkok market is the largest in the country of Thailand. You can spend an entire day browsing the different sections and sois of Chatuchak and still not see everything. Our best advice? If you find something you like, buy it! It’s unlikely you will be able to find the same vendor again.
While browsing this weekend market, we found some of the best bangkok street food that we had during our entire bangkok travel. We both have a pretty big sweet tooth, so you know coconut ice-cream and mango smoothies were on our list of things to eat! There is a huge variety of Thai street food at the Chatuchak weekend market, so we suggest snacking your way through so you can try a little of everything.
