When playing the DLC, and going for S ranks, I barely used Ms. Chalice. I thought I would give her a shot. I have to say based on my experience so far, she is much more easy to use for S ranks. Her roll, dash parry, and double jump really help her get out of sticky situations. Even in the flight levels, her secondary weapon deals good damage, and her spreadshot is good up close.

This boss is usually a bit tricky to S Rank, since you have to be a bit aggressive. But with Chalice, the spread shot makes a difference. You're guaranteed to get more than one of the shots, which means that the bosses health will deplete a bit faster. The secondary weapon in the first phase is also pretty handy when she pulls in the cactus.
