Pause Squats are something that just about everyone should do. Here are 5 awesome benefits of pausing slightly in the bottom position of a squat.
How long you pause during your pause squats is up to you. Sometimes I'll just pause a very slight about, and other times, it'll be much longer. As a starting amount, I'd say pausing during your pause squats around half a second to maybe a second is a good target, though there are certainly benefits to a longer pause.
You can pause at other positions which I didn't really talk about, but I typically prefer just going down all the way and pausing there. Pause squats are great and you should definitely do pause squats more.
