Here is my society finch colony. This is a daily routine for them to dip into a pool of water which I change everyday. In fact, the water will not last the afternoon and it will be dried up.
Society finches love baking a batch. They will actually choose to bathe first compared to feeding fresh food. Of course the feather preening follows after. Each bird will pick their quiet spot and clean up their feathers.
Video is less than 7 minutes. I just could not cut it short because it feels relaxing to watch for me. Hope you enjoy.
