The Kawasaki Z900 is among the most popular big bikes sold in India. The symphony from the four-cylinder engine, the brute styling and its thrilling performance made the Z900 a huge hit in the Indian market. The Japanese two-wheeler giant recently updated its popular street naked and we got up close with the 2025 Kawasaki Z900 at the 2024 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan.
The 2025 Kawasaki Z900 gets a revised fascia as the LED headlight is sharper and sportier looking. The 948 cc inline-4 cylinder engine is now 16 percent more fuel efficient than before, however, peak output figures have dropped slightly to 123 bhp and 97.4 Nm from 125 bhp and 98.6 Nm. This is owing to the stricter emission norms. The 2025 Z900 now gets a IMU-based electronic riding support technology that gets you cornering ABS, traction control, ride modes and power modes. The above is controlled by a new TFT instrument console which also supports turn-by-turn navigation.
The current Kawasaki Z900 is priced at ₹9.38 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Given the slew of updates in terms of new features and riding aids this model benefits – we expect the 2025 model will launch with a hike somewhere between ₹50,000 to ₹70,000.
