The Kenya Ports Authority will take control of the Lamu Port by June 2018 as planned, despite challenges such as insecurity which is currently a concern. This is according to the contractor of the Port Project, which will be the first phase of the Lamu Port-South Sudan-Ethiopia-Transport Corridor project, LAPSSET. NTV's Laban Cliff Onserio toured the site and sheds light on a facility set to take some load off the Port of Mombasa.
