According to a DDMA directive, a night curfew would be enforced in Delhi starting at 11 p.m. on Monday, prohibiting movement of individuals except those in exempted categories, due to an increase in COVID-19 cases and the threat posed by Omicron.
According to the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), the night curfew would be in effect from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. till further orders are issued.
Government officials, judges and judicial officers, medical personnel, pregnant women and patients, those traveling on foot to buy vital products, media employees, and people going to or returning from railway stations, bus stops, and airports are among those who are excluded from the curfew.
