Here on the homestead we usually have a PILE of kid's sidewalk chalk ends that NOBODY wants to use because they will end up with pavement or sidewalk scrapes on their fingers! This will NEVER be a problem again now that we have found how EASY it is to make our own chalk paint! Don't spend money on this stuff at the store- make it yourself... or better yet, teach the kids and they can make it for themselves! It is a fun and unique way to be able to make creative art in with a PAINTBRUSH or a sponge! We do a lot of educating on our driveway! We do math problems, learn words, complete exercise courses and even learn concepts like evaporation through pictures!

**Please note: You can use a stone, brick or other heavy object if you don't have a soft mallet like we use in the video!
