Welcome to this healing sleep meditation for easing chronic pain. You asked for a sleep version of my chronic pain meditation, so I crafted this sleep meditation for your healing with my soothing female voice for natural pain relief.

There is an assumption that chronic pain lasts forever. But a recent survey of 10,000 adults (National Health Interview Survey) showed that 10.4% of those interviewed with chronic pain in 2019 were fully recovered and pain free in 2020.

Mindful breathing, body scans and guided visualization have all been shown to help with pain relief. So in this meditation I've included a bit of everything, including a brief body relaxation scan so you can relax your muscles for a more restful sleep.

Use this healing meditation any time in your evening for 30 minutes of relaxation. Although it's been designed for pain relief, it can help any person achieve deep relaxation. It ends with a couple of affirmations for positive energy.

It may seem like your pain is not being taken seriously when someone suggests stress management, and many medical treatment plans completely ignore lifestyle factors. Yet you are a whole person with many overlapping strands of relationships, interests, and psychological strengths. Sleep and rest is just one of these factors within a holistic model of health.
