This video footage comes from the Imperial War Museum (UK) film archives. Included here is a 3 minute extract showing airborne troops parachuting from planes and collecting weapons etc, from parachute supply containers. The last 20 seconds of this clip shows a Welbike being retrieved from a container and being ridden off into the sunset. Note the thundering four stroke bellow of the engine when you watch it which has been dubbed over the two stroke sound.
The full 22 minute video this footage was extracted from was made as a tribute to the British Airborne divisions on behalf of the workers making their equipment.
