After using the circular saw for a while, it's important to change the blade as the blade's teeth would wear out. Or you might have to change the blade because of the blade's application (wood, metal, cutting width, clean cut, coarse cut, etc.). Watch this video to learn how to change your circular saw blade in less than 1:40 minutes!

IMPORTANT - Make sure to remove the battery (cordless) or unplug (corded) the circular saw!

Find the Shaft lock. Press the shaft lock in to lock the blade. Turn the hex wrench anti-clockwise while holding the shaft lock in. You could take the outer flange prior to removing the blade.

Make sure the new blade has the correct diameter & bore size that matches your machine. For my model, the blade diameter is 190 mm (7.5") and the bore is 30 mm (1 3/16 ″). I've another video (add link here ) explaining the main terminologies of circular saw blade.

When inserting the new blade, make sure teeth is pointing up. Once the blade is inserted, you could leave the protecting cover. In the video I forgot to leave the cover.

Important - make sure to insert the outer flange in the correct orientation. Turn the bolt clockwise to lock the blade. Make sure bolt is tightened securely. On some circular saw models, the shaft lock is kept locked once pressed. Make sure to unlock it before using your saw again.
