After four months of unemployment, I have finally started receiving unemployment benefits. This is the first time, I've had to create a budget (or as I like to call it, a spending money plan) while not making a salary. Sadly, that means I do not have the funds to save or invest right now but we are fortunate in other ways -- like being able to live with parents for low rent!
We are still actively looking for those full-time jobs, but in the meantime this is the reality of where we are with our money.
