In this video, we show you how we do a four-wheel alignment. Setting up the string is the most tedious part. We use a lightweight aluminum hollow rod for the string support front and rear. We just hang it with some straps, protecting the car with rags. There is not much pressure on the bars at all. The strings have to be put on at the same time as they pull on the bars and snug them up. We run the string through the center of the wheel line.
This is a job best done with two people. One making the adjustments and one measuring. Remember to have the car fully loaded with gas, all fluids topped off, and the tire pressure set.
The final part of the job is to check your work on the road. The test drive let us know that this car was set up super nice, and along with running in the engine, we love the results.
Check out the other suspension series videos for the work before the wheel alignment.
