What is double Glazing? What is secondary Glazing?

This short video will give you a basic understanding of what double glazing is. It will give you an understanding of the difference between: laminated glass, double glazing and also secondary glazing.

Double glazing is two panes of glass that are separated by a gap, this gap can be filled with air, or pressurised with gas, predominately argon gas.

Most people will confuse laminated glass with double glazing. The laminated glass is two panes of glass that are joined together with a layer of plastic, that then makes it safe or safety glass.

Laminated glass is still single glazing.
