Brazil rejected millions of dollars in aid from the Group of Seven (G7) countries to fight the fires in the Amazon rainforest. G7 leaders had offered US$20 million to help quell the growing environmental crisis at their summit in France. But Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro slammed the offer.
