Rev Helen James travels to Upton on Severn in search of The Green Man - Jeremy Griffiths BA, DBTh, MIRCH - a registered medical herbalist. Interfaith Minister, Helen, also goes on a herb walk to rediscover native medicine.
Jeremy is a self-proclaimed medical and bare knuckles herbalist, who runs foraging trips around Upton leading people into the world of the Green Man, an ancient symbol of healing & rejuvenation. On this journey into the environment of wild herbs, we learn about their healing properties, the influence of the elements and environment on their character and temperament as well as their place as a food source.
Jeremy has more than three decades of personal and professional experience as a medical herbalist, forager and survivalist.

Helen also interviews musicians, artists and environmentalists who inspire, care for Mother Earth and their communities. The intention behind the series is to also celebrate our unique gifts within the great tapestry of life, value inter-connection, promote tolerance and non-judgement, compassion and LOVE.
Rev Helen James is an Interfaith Minister, sacred journalist & broadcaster. She trained for two years with the One Spirit Interfaith Foundation in the UK and was ordained in 2021. Helen lives in Worcestershire, UK and offers spiritual counselling/accompaniment (in person or online) and reiki healing/teaching. As a celebrant, Helen creates bespoke ceremonies (naming ceremonies, civil partnership & wedding blessings, rites of passage ceremonies, funeral services and celebrations of life) and also creates rituals to mark moments of threshold.
