A water main break in Edison is leaving some residents without water this morning. Water is gushing at the scene, flowing down by Benjamin Franklin Elementary School. Water is pooling in part of the street. Edison Mayor Sam Joshi says about 20,000 people have been impacted by the 20-inch water main break. As of 7:30 a.m., officials say crews are working to isolate the main break. This is just days after there was another water main break in Edison on Route 27, about 3.5 miles away. Local businesses have been impacted in the area on Route 1 and Woodbridge Avenue. The road is blocked off leading into the neighborhood. There is a concern about the roadway.
