Budget 2018: THIS IS WHAT govt said about middle-class after presenting budget
One section of the Indian society remained unhappy with the budget 2018-19. This section was the middle class. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley did not do any changes in the Income Tax slabs for this year. He said, "The government has made many positive changes in the personal income tax rates applicable to the individuals in the last three years. Therefore, I do not propose to make any changes in the structure of the income tax for the individuals."
