This is the new Red Gum/Red Silkwood Hybrid Shelled 14in X 6.5in Snare Drum. This stunner is finished in hi-gloss lacquer and blinged out in chrome hardware. Let’s check out the spec:

This drum has a bit of a top end we wouldn’t have expected out of Red Gum but is a pleasant change. The fundamental note is full and has nice volume. The drum is a bit drier than we would have anticipated but is articulate and full of body.
