The next financial year may just be the year to look out for as a country. The government is planning for the lowest expenditure growth in years for 2018-2019, as it targets to cut recurrent expenditure so as to allocate more resources to development projects. This means that the increase in expenses such as salaries will be much lower than in previous years.
