Do I need a Financial Advisor? Do you need a Financial Advisor? In my opinion, no, I do not think most people (less than $250k investable assets) need a Financial Advisor. In this video I share some of my opinions about Financial Advisors and whether or not you need to work with one in order for you to achieve financial success or to reach your retirement goals.
There might be a few scenarios when you absolutely should interview and potentially hire a Financial Advisor, but for most average investors...IF you have the willingness, the time to research, and the desire to learn some basic investment jargon and how/when to invest your money (especially for retirement accounts) then you will be able to find financial success investing on your own without paying the fees that come with a Financial Advisor.
