The final step in the Troop Leading procedures is all about checking, checking again, and double checking as your plan is executed.
NCO's are responsible for pre-combat checks of everyone's gear- from fresh batteries to ammo to water to support items and weapons- to make sure that nothing gets in the way of mission accomplishment.
Leaders are constantly planning and refining as new information is presented, and taking note of friction points and issues so we don't make the same mistakes in future missions.
