My best tips for where to find *FREE* stamps are at train stations, “Michi no eki” (roadside stations on both highways and public roads), tourist centers & at attractions you visit!
*Please note that at temples and shrines there are often “goshuin” which are paid special stamps which cost money. But, the area may also have a free stamp if you check at the closest tourist information center, station, etc.
I also recommend googling “stamp rally” for the area you are visiting as areas often have special limited edition stamps at certain times.
📕 If you want to get the same stamp book I used in this video, you can get your own at nekonekopost.com/shop ! The perfect size to fit in your pocket or travel bag & the proceeds go towards helping cat rescue shelters in Japan. A win-win!
Happy collecting! ✨
