Here is 4064…. That now is 5101, pride had to think of something when their older glass trucks were no longer road legal. And with only 1 diesel, and 2 CNG glass trucks left. They tore off the famous autoreach arms off of 2 of their McNeilus ASLs. Being the 2 Mack LEUs in the fleet, they took 4063, and 4064 as the candidates for this new position. And here’s the outcome. Custom glass bin and arm to dump red glass bins and multi family/ commercial carts into the hopper. Along both side are welded on storage cubbies for motor oil and house hold batteries. At the rear of the unit was a glass box that was used occasionally paired with the autoreach arm, but not for long. As now it is used for “recycle + items. With dumpster lids added for safe travels on road so no loose “recycle +” things fly out. Looks very strange but gets the job done until the company can get some new chassis to then build their custom glass truck body’s.
