With the Grit X, Polar launched a Hill Splitter feature that automatically detects when you are going uphill or downhill. Then, after the run, you can check what the grade of the incline was, the length of the incline, your pace, and your cadence. It tracks all this automatically and in addition to any auto-tracked mile splits. So you don't have to choose what kind of run tracking you want. The Grit X does it all for you.
Disclosure: the Grit X is a watch that was sent to me by Polar for purpose of review. However, they are not paying me to make this video or to use the watch, nor did they request that this video be made. No one will get a chance to preview my thoughts or footage before this video goes up on youtube.
