This week we are getting back into the cake trends of 2020, with the most recent craze being this island jelly cake! I was absolutely mesmerised by this cake, and I had to try it out! I had to work out a few things to make it a Cakes by MK version that I was happy with, and I am glad to finally be able to share my way of making this island jelly cake with you all! Chocolate Ganache:
- 360g semi-sweet chocolate
- 360ml heavy cream
Jelly:
- 125g powdered gelatine
- 350ml water for blooming gelatine
- 600ml of water
- 150g of sugar
- 1 drop of blue gel food colouring
- optional clear jelly flavouring of choice
