Windows 95 codenamed Chicago was released on August 24th, 1995. On December 31st. same year Windows 95 received its first and only Service Pack upgrade!
Windows 95 OSR1 was released on February 14th, 1996 (also known as Windows 95a). On August 24, 1996, Windows 95 OSR2 (also known as Windows 95b) was released. The final release of Windows 95 known as Windows 95 OSR2.5 (Windows 95c) arrived in 1997.
