The Redmi Note 5 has a Snapdragon 625 chipset with 8 cortex A53 cores clocked in at 2 GHz each. This phone is coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.

The Honor 7X is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 659 chip and has 4GB RAM along with 128GB on board storage.

The Redmi Note 5 runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 7 Nougat while the Honor 7X runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android Nougat.
