Two 1000hp MTU (RollsRoyce/Mercedes) main propulsion engines inside the Ferretti Altura 58 were succesfully 'controlled' restarted after 5 years of standstill.
Previously all engine oil, fuel- & oilfilters were replaced, all pumps & electronic circuits checked and new 'superheavy duty' 180Ah starting batteries were installed.
