Make a Wind Sock with Surrey Heritage and learn about Surrey’s past windmills.

You will need:
- cardboard tube
- scrap paper
- sellotape/glue
- colouring pens
- ribbons or string


1. Cover the cardboard tube in scrap paper
2. Add decoration with colouring pens
3. Sellotape different sized lengths of string or ribbon onto one end of the tube
4. Stick one length of string to each side of the top of the tube
5. Take your wind sock outside and hold or hang it up by the top piece of string
