Joaquín Guzmán, better known as "El Chapo," is the world's most infamous drug lord and the former leader of the Sinaloa Cartel.
He is also known as the world's best escape artist. Guzmán broke out of prison twice—in one instance, he used a laundry cart as part of his escape.
The 62-year-old will face his sentencing on June 25 after being convicted in February of running an industrial-scale smuggling operation.
