We are back for another kayak and camp adventure ! This trip brings us down to Lake Cumberland where we will be spending 2 days on the Big South Fork River. We start at the Blue Heron trailhead and float north to Alum Ford public launch. This river takes you all the way back into Burnside, Kentucky on the Cumberland River ! We were surprised by the amount of water and rapids on this stretch of the river. The old town and pelican catch 100 did stellar in their trip up river. We hope you all enjoy this episode as much as we did filming it ! We really struggled with the muddy water conditions and deeper water but still got on some Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass, and some panfish. What we lacked in fish on this trip we gained in an amazing scenic route with little to no cell phone service. Such a fun adventure for us both !
