I had the perfect opportunity to surprise my mom with a dreamy bedroom makeover. She has been away for some months now, so I totally re-did this small bedroom into a cozy vintage inspired retreat 🛌 In this video, I'll show you how to install DIY gallery rails for under $100 and add how to do a simple window sill to elevate the look of a boring window. Done together with a shiplap wall, they add a sophisticated charm and gives you a place to display thrift finds and decorate to your hearts content❤️
With under $100, I DIY’ed gallery rails using wooden chess pieces!! With some precision drilled holes, I added 1/4' dowels I already had on hand and made it look like brass with some rub n buff. That little window needed some love as well, so a simple DIY window sill did the trick!😉
