Even though the only painting in this project is the background, I created a replica of the famous Yard Long Victorian Rose Paintings using Iron Orchid Designs Painterly Floral Transfers.
This video was edited down from an IOD-TV live to show the steps I took in putting the design and layout together to recreate the airy, loose floral arrangement paintings common (and loved) in the Victorian era.
In the video, you’ll learn:
🌿 How to layout the design for a balanced composition.
🌿 How to rub-on transfers overlaid onto transfers.
🌿 How to perfectly correct a rip in a transfer.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then combining this video with instructions is worth a million! Head over to the Gardenhouse Studio website for complete step-by-step instructions and a supply list right here: [ Ссылка ]
Featured in this project is one of my very favorite Iron Orchid Designs Decor Transfer: Painterly Floral.
I’ve loaded the video and instructions with so many technique tips and layout ideas - you’ll want to take your time with this project. When you’re done - I would love to see pictures of your Victorian paintings. Please share them with me!
And that includes any other projects where you’ve used the Painterly Floral transfer. I plan to create another Victorian Rose painting exactly like this on a headboard.
