The flora is the protagonist of the park territory. This botanic paradise and its peaks, which are up to 1,979 meters high, hosts more than half of 2,600 species which are in Sicily and about 150 of the 200 endemic species. The most representative is the "Abies Nebrodensis" with 29 specimen. The fauna is characterised by 65% of the nest birds and all the mammals which are in Sicily. The geological and landscape aspects are very relevant too. It's possible to observe wonderful landscapes from different areas: Etna, the Nebrodi and the Egadi island, where the dawns and sunsets paint with bright colours giving them an surreal aspect.
