Unlike most art exhibitions where people are asked to stand in certain distance away from the artwork, sculptor Shi Jinsong, a leading figure in contemporary sculpture, invites people to walk into this collection of installations called “Structure”.
"Structure" consists of twisted lengths of old tree roots, which Shi collected in forests and mountains during the past decade. Each visitor is given a flashlight, to explore the “cave”, and find the subtle changes imparted by light and shadow.
