This incredible 10-day, 200 kilometer, off-the-beaten trek in Far-Western Nepal took us from the lush and spectacular natural beauty of Khaptad National Park, through the pastoral landscapes and rural villages of Bajura and Mugu, and onto the stunning turquoise waters of Rara Lake National Park. Not too many tourists (Nepali or international) visit this part of Nepal, but if you're up for the adventure, I would say it is for sure a place worth exploring!

There aren’t too many resources out there about this trek, and many of the villages we passed through can't be found on any map. Please leave a comment if you’d like more info about our route and our experience on the trek. I have GPS coordinates of our entire route that I’d be happy to share as well.
