It’s day two of the Target Sprint Festival and we re-join the talented athletes from across the globe for the ISSF World Tour British Open.

Target Sprint is an internationally recognised air rifle discipline combining running with target shooting to develop shooting skills and physical fitness. The competition consists of three 400m running stages and two 10-metre air rifle shooting stages.
Today, competitors will take part in the ISSF World Tour British Open, which consists of races for individuals, teams and mixed teams. With the competition in full swing, skilled runners and target shooters give it their all in bid to win medal glory and finish atop of the podium.
Race one sees the Junior Men in action. After a tough competition, Morten Van Der Schee finished with the gold medal. The Junior Women took to the starting line for the second race. Poppy Clark put on another great performance taking home the bronze medal. The Senior Men were next to go head to head and Arno Turner walked away with the gold. The fourth race of the day saw was the Senior Women. Katie Robbins finished with the second fastest time to win silver.
The team races begun and saw some incredible displays of running and target shooting. The final event for the day was the mixed teams competitions, which closed out on the day in amazing fashion.
It has been another outstanding day filled with action and excitement. The final day of the Target Sprint Festival will follow athletes that have all qualified from competitions across the country compete for championship glory.
