The 2024 Chery Global Innovation Conference was held, and Chery's flying car was exhibited in the exhibition hall of the event.

According to the personnel on site, Chery's three-body composite wing flying car is still in the research and development stage, but it has been successfully tested! What's more interesting is that this flying car has no steering wheel and no accelerator pedal, that is, it uses driverless driving, and offers two modes, namely flying driving and land driving, making preparations for future air travel.

It is worth mentioning that Chery also introduced this three-body composite wing flying car at the press conference, claiming that it "can help everyone realize their dream of flying".

Chery's three-body composite wing flying car consists of three parts, including the flying part, the cockpit, and the driving part.

The whole flight process can be divided into three stages. In the first stage, the cockpit and the driving part will take the shape of a car, and when you get on the car, you will automatically enter the flying part.

In the second stage, the flight part will integrate with the cockpit, and the driving part will separate and transform into an airplane, taking you to the parking area at your destination.

In the third stage, after you arrive, the driving department will pick you up again and integrate with the cockpit, separate from the flight department and transform into a car form, and take you to your destination.

There is no need for people to leave the cockpit during the entire flight process! The simple understanding is that the cockpit is fixed, combined with flying wings, it becomes an airplane, and combined with four wheels, it becomes a car, allowing you to achieve a seamless connection between land and air flight.

Perhaps due to factors such as safety and labor costs, the entire driving and flying process is unmanned. The idea is very good, but it is expected to take some time to be commercialized in practice. The safety and convenience of air flight routes have not yet been taken into account.

Even if it can really fly, it is estimated that the price of this "flying" will be relatively expensive, which is difficult for ordinary people to accept~
