(Welcome to Pez concrete pumping in this video, I'm just going to do a quick tutorial on the preparation work before liquid screed gets pumped in. This is for the customers that keep asking the questions about preparation work for liquid screed including what to do with the pipes etc. So, I thought I would just quickly do this video. The first one is the edging strip if you look at this job the edging strip is nice and tight and then the flaps are brought down and then duck taped. You can always duct tape across here if you haven't got this flap.,Always make sure this is secure, otherwise, it will float in the screed. As for the underfloor heating pipes as well, if you can see how they have all been nicely clipped all the way around and the corners clipped together just to stop the pipes lifting and perfectly spaced in between as well. The other thing we've done on this job, we have put in expansion joints across each zone just to try and stop them from cracking from the different heats of different zones. The way we've done this, you look just a piece of foam again taped to the bottom nicely either side, see it's nice and secure and literally just V’d out just so the screed can flow either side to keep an even level all the way through. If you look at the pipes as well, well wrapped. That was a quick tutorial on a bit of preparation work for anybody that's a bit unsure. You can tell the corners here look nice and tidy as well.) Thanks
