This is an older video of the 2006-2008, Stepp SRM 10-120 Asphalt Recycler. The video was created to demonstrate the recycler's ability to recycle asphalt millings and to produce hotmix asphalt from raw ingredients (stone and AC). The video compilation includes an indepth machine overview. This video was shot on a winter day at Stepp Mfg in Minnesota, with ambient temperatures well below freezing. During the demo we recycled asphalt millings purchased from the asphalt plant. We also produced virgin asphalt from pea gravel and asphalt cement. Final asphalt mix temperature was about 330F. The product overview features Bruce Konrad (former sales manager for Stepp Mfg) discussing the features of the asphalt recycler, along with PavementGroup President Mark Reeves.
