ATTENTION- Super Long video... again! :) │ When we met with Boris, my club buddy, on that day (June 30, 2021) and checked the weather forecast in the morning, we weren't very enthusiastic about the day. Showers were forecasted for the (Austrian) Alps all day long with T-storms in late afternoon. Boris was a bit hesitant to rig his beloved Cirrus, so we decided to take our club's DG-500 for a ride. Forecast was spot on and showers in Gailtal, Austria around noon made it impossible to fly further to the West, so we turned back to Slovenia. While flying along the Karavanke mountain range we realized that the weather to the South and to the East was developing really nicely... and off we went and turned an initially local flight into a great triangle, literally across Slovenia.
