Stephen Huddart (McConnell Family Foundation) uses the story of the Huron-Wendake First Nation's model for addressing the housing crisis on reserves to highlight the potential for social finance in Canada. Huddart was one of the first experts to testify before the Senate Social Affairs, Science and Technology Committee when it studied the creation of a social finance fund in February 2018.
