Thames Valley Police is appealing for information after a sexual assault in Stone near Aylesbury. [ Ссылка ]
The victim, a girl of secondary school age, was with friends in a park next to Creslow Way in Stone between about 5pm and 7pm yesterday (25/4).
The victim left her friends and began to walk a short distance along Creslow Way when she was approached by a man.
The offender then grabbed the victim around the throat and sexually assaulted her over her clothing.
He then walked off towards the A316, Oxford Road.
The offender is described as white, in his late teens, tall and slim.
He was wearing a black hooded top, black jeans and white trainers.
He is believed to have had a local accent.
Investigating officer, Det Insp David Dachtler of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit based at Aylesbury police station, said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who saw or heard anything unusual in the vicinity of Stone Park yesterday to contact police immediately, especially if you saw a white, tall and slim man in his late teens acting suspiciously, following people or otherwise loitering in the area between the times stated.
“We are conducting patrols in the area, carrying out house to house to house enquiries and are actively seeking witnesses, so if you have any concerns please speak to one of our officers.
“If you have any information whatsoever about the incident, no matter how insignificant you think it might be, please call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
“If you do not want to speak directly to the police you can contact the Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
