(7 Feb 1966) A new way of delivering milk - a plastic bag, encased in a fibre board box is replacing the old fashioned milk churn. The new packs are disposable, weigh about a third less than a churn and take up less space. ® The personality Milkman of 1966, Ray Mileham of Hornchurch. He was recommended by Mrs McAllen because he's "The Nicest Milkman she's ever known - Always on time - Always gets the order right - Never too busy for a friendly word".
