"We want Yvonne (trapped mine worker) to come out to surface. We are requesting that the authorities should bring her out, that is our plea and the reason we are camping out here. They must try everything at their disposal to find her. We are also camping out here praying to God with all our might for her safe return."

"We are going to find these three people, we are going to bring them to surface so that the families can have closure today. So we will keep on searching until we find them. But it's an emotional time, there's lots of prayers and singing going on inside which is always emotional. And yeah, these are my people, these are not just workers these are my people. So, yeah, I want to find them as much as everybody standing here does so that I can bring good news to all of you. And that's what we'll carry on doing until we do. And then we'll decide after that the future of the company. But today I hope we bring out some people from underground."
9. Various trapped mine workers' friends and relatives waiting outside mine entrance
STORYLINE:
Rescuers were on Saturday continuing to search for three people trapped underground after a collapse at a South African gold mine, according to the mine's manager.
Rescue workers were attempting to find a mobile office that sank after the collapse at Vantage Goldfields Lily Mine in the eastern Mpumalanga Province on Friday.
Two women and one man working as lamp room attendants were inside.
The mine collapsed when an underground pillar caved in.
General Manager Mike Begg said all 87 miners who were trapped underground were rescued and brought to the surface.
None of the miners were seriously injured, paramedic said.
