The reverse Shatabdi is also know as kanpur new delhi sahtabdi express. First in this route lucknow Shatabdi express run from new delhi to lucknow but overload of passengers and this train did not full fill so in 2010 Mamta Banargi . This train covers a distance of 440 km in 4 hour 55 min. In early time there is not any stop b/w new delhi and kanpur but later Gaziabad Aligarh and etwah also included there halt . It follows the rervse time table of lucknow shatabhdi . The Lucknow Shatabdi leaves delhi at 6:10am and reach kanpur 11:35am but kanpur Shatabdi leave kanpur at 6:00 am and reach delhi at 11 :30 am thats why it is called Reverse Shatabdi.
