Hello there! Ahh Dragon Mines is one of my favourite track due to its very unique shortcut and also fact that nobody uses it in online games to perfecting that trick is 99% instant win :)
So! First tip here - be fast all the time. Oxide is very fast and boosting all the time, he won't crush or slow down so you musn't too. Try to perfect boost as mamy times as possible and get good slide angles to be as efficent as you can.
Second - (and it is not obligatory because Oxide doesn't use it) is the mine cart tunnel shortcut. It requires some practice, U-turn technique here is very useful as well as taking appropriate approach to the tunnel and maintaining your speed. It is shown on the video so if you want to try it check it out and repeat repeat repeat :) Good luck! And remember it is not that difficult as a lot of people say - everything is trivial after some time of practicing it.
