In this video, I will share the benefits of sulphur fertilizer in wheat crop.
Sulphur is fourth largest nutrient required by plants after nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.
Sulphur nutrient has potential to increase our wheat average yield as it is needed in;
1) Heavy clayey soils
2) Sandy soils
3) Salts affected soils
4) Sodic soils
5) High pH soils
Two types of sulphur are normally available in market;
1) Sulphur bentonite 90%
2) Sulphur 80%
Sulphur bentonite in good for soil application at the time of land preparation as it is slow releasing source of sulphur.
Sulphur 80% is good for applications on first and second irrigation.
